Acting as a tied agent to an independent investment firm — in our case SVP — means that we operate under SVP’s license and name with regard to the investment services of investment advisory and the reception and transmission of orders in financial instruments. SVP reviews our advisory services and documentation and ensures that our operations comply with the regulations governing the Swedish securities market. This review aims to ensure the quality of the advisory services and to provide clients with the protection to which they are entitled. SVP is liable for any pure financial loss caused to a client by the agent, either intentionally or through negligence, in connection with investment advisory services provided in the role as a tied agent under the Swedish Securities Market Act (2007:528).
